Ammon News - AMMONNEWS – Prime Minister Marouf Bakhit on Wednesday inaugurated the Shmeisani Intersection Project, implemented by Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) at a total cost of JD19 million to ease traffic congestion in this vital area of Amman.
The Premier was briefed on the project, which occupies a strategic location as it connects the capital's main streets.
GAM's Commission Director Ammar Gharaibeh said that the project is a quantum leap in the level of services provided in the capital, hailing efforts exerted to execute the project in accordance with the current architectural developments of the region.
The Project, which is the biggest of its kind with 630 working days, has four levels, a tunnel, circle, and two bridges to contribute to solving traffic jams, reducing air pollution, adding green spaces to the area and containing heavy traffic resulting from the architectural developments in Al Abdali area.
