Under the theme ‘Umniah’s Got Talent’Umniah Holds Quarterly Employee Event

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS- As part of its tradition, Umniah organized on its quarterly employee event at The Citadel Hill in Amman under the theme ‘Umniah’s Got Talent’. The event was attended by Umniah’s CEO Ihab Hinnawi, as well as members of its management team and staff.

The festive event was held in an effort to strengthen Umniah’s relationship with its employees, and to further promote effective communication with the management team. Hinnawi shared the Company’s accomplishments during 2010, discussed the Company’s future plans and expectations for 2011, and exchanged constructive ideas and suggestions with the attendees.

Commenting on the occasion, Hinnawi expressed delight at having the opportunity to once again meet with the Company’s employees, who he described as models for ambition and dedication. “The existing harmony in the Umniah team has enabled us to achieve our goal of providing the Jordanian telecom sector with high quality, innovative services, and is the foundation for our accomplishments and ongoing success,” he said, reaffirming Umniah’s commitment to continue supporting its human resources, who Hinnawi described as the cornerstone of the Company’s progress and development.

As part of the event’s various entertainment programs, the Company organized the ‘Umniah’s Got Talent’ competition, where employees showcased their numerous talents that included singing, poetry recitation and musical performances. The competition winners were determined by a panel of judges comprised of Umniah’s management team, and received prizes. Furthermore, prizes were distributed to the distinguished employees of the fiscal year’s first half, where Sami Habahbeh and Amr Khader received the gold prize, while Mustafa Mansour received the bronze prize, and Mahmoud Salman received the distinguished performance award, confirming Umniah’s ongoing commitment to recognizing its staff’s outstanding efforts, capabilities and dedication.
