Ammon News - Proceeding with its Corporate Social Responsibility efforts in Al Koura district which started in 2007; and with the objective of developing an understanding and raising awareness of the value of art in the educational process, Nuqul Group collaborated with The National Center for Culture and Arts (NCCA) to conduct cultural performances in the district.
The three performances; Journey to Kanafeesh World, Painting on the Wall and Memoirs of a Woman, took place at Al Ashrafieh Club in Deir Abi S'eed and targeted different age groups reaching up to 300 beneficiaries.
Ghassan Nuqul, Nuqul Group's Vice Chairman, said: "Since the beginning of our CSR journey, we believed that the cultural aspect is the cornerstone of any development process. Our partnership with NCCA was driven by the Group's slogan "Growing Together" and in order for us to grow with our local communities it is crucial to tackle culture and arts in a creative and interactive way."
"These plays are only the beginning and we will be evaluating the development of our cultural activities in the district together with our partners, and with the help of the local community we shall continue the journey," Mr. Nuqul added.
