Oil prices in Jordan set to dip in August, says expert
Energy expert Hashem Aqel on Monday revealed his expectations for August's oil prices in Jordan, based on global prices for July.
Aqel expected the price of 90-octane gasoline to decrease by 15 fils per liter, or 1.7%, while the price of 95-octane gasoline to decrease by 15 fils per liter, or 1.3%.
Diesel price is expected to rise by 15 fils per liter, or 2.2%, according to Aqel.
The current forecasts indicate that oil prices are likely to decline in the coming months, and there are no strong indications of a significant increase in the near term, he said.
