Ammon News - Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian home on Thursday in the town of al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Governorate said Israeli forces demolished a two-story home belonging to Jerusalem resident Ashraf Salhab, citing construction without a permit.

The Israeli municipality in Jerusalem routinely denies Palestinians building permits and demolishes their homes or forces them to demolish them themselves. These measures violate international laws and humanitarian conventions that uphold the right to housing, and form part of systematic Israeli efforts to forcibly displace Palestinians from Jerusalem while expanding settlements in the city and its surrounding areas.
