27-10-2026 03:25 PM

Ammon News - The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) stated that the Cybercrime Unit is monitoring all content including posts and comments shared on social media platforms that violates the law, defames others (whether inside or outside the Kingdom), or incites hatred.

The spokesperson emphasized that the Cybercrime Unit operates around the clock to detect any legal violations. He affirmed that there will be no leniency in enforcing the law, and that the strictest legal measures will be taken against anyone who posts or reshares such content.

Furthermore, the spokesperson noted that numerous fake accounts, managed from outside the Kingdom, have been identified. These accounts attempt to spread defamatory content against Jordan and disseminate hate speech, aiming to draw others in and expand the scope of such abuse.
