Ammon News - The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has revealed the number of martyrs and injured in the Karak incident.

According to the Public Security Directorate, six people were martyred and 28 others injured in the criminal incident that took place during a funeral in Karak Governorate, according to the latest figures.

The Directorate explained that unidentified individuals opened fire on a funeral in Karak.

It confirmed that investigations are underway at full speed and that the results will be announced as they become available.

A source told "Ammon" earlier that three armed individuals were inside the vehicle that attacked the church, one of whom was carrying a machine gun.

The deceased and injured were transported to Prince Ali Military Hospital and Karak Government Hospital.
