Ammon News - The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission received 1,138 licensing applications across energy, mining and industrial sectors during March, reflecting continued regulatory and investment activity in the kingdom.
According to data published on the commission’s official website, applications were distributed across four main sectors, led by natural resources with 493 requests, followed by radiation and nuclear activities with 389 applications.
The petroleum and petroleum derivatives sector recorded 234 applications, while the electricity and renewable energy sector received 22 requests.
The commission said four applications related to the petroleum and petroleum derivatives sector were rejected during the month.
