Ammon News - Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan inaugurated the "Al-Nashama Park" in Marj Al Hammam area on Tuesday, covering an area of 56 dunums.
The park offers multiple facilities and spaces for recreation and various sports, built to the highest standards. It features a distinctive architectural and aesthetic design, including green spaces covering nearly 40% of the park, outdoor seating areas, walking paths, children’s playgrounds, and parking spaces.
The park also includes 11 sports courts spread across 10,000 square meters, including three football fields, two basketball courts, two tennis courts, four padel courts, as well as jogging and cycling tracks.
The Prime Minister praised the efforts of Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) for completing the park to high standards in less than five months.
Chairman of the Greater Amman Municipality committee, Yousef Al-Shawarbeh, said the park was named "Al-Nashama" in recognition of the historic achievement of the Jordan national football team in qualifying for the FIFA World Cup finals.
