Ammon News - The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) has begun implementing measures to block access to pornographic websites across all networks, in cooperation with internet service providers and telecommunications companies.

The TRC said it has formally instructed telecom operators to immediately begin applying the blocking system by activating filtering technologies that classify and block IP addresses and domains broadcasting pornographic content automatically, with continuous updates to block lists to address newly emerging websites.

The decision covers fiber and ADSL connections, as well as all internet packages used via smartphones.
