Ammon News - A fuel tanker and a truck caught fire on the desert highway on Monday, according to a security source.

Videos showed the tanker bursting into flames after overturning, with large flames and thick smoke rising from the scene.

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said specialized civil defense and police teams from the Desert Highway Directorate are responding to a collision involving a tanker and two trucks in the Suwaqa area, which led to the tanker catching fire.

Firefighting crews are continuing efforts to extinguish the blaze, the directorate added.
