Temperatures rise slightly Tuesday, pleasant weather across most regions

Ammon News - A gradual rise in temperatures is expected to define weather conditions through the end of the week, following mild weather prevailing on Tuesday across most regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Tuesday’s conditions remain mild in most areas, while relatively warmer weather continues in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low clouds are present over northern and central regions, with northwesterly winds blowing at moderate speeds and becoming active at times.

Temperatures are forecast to rise slightly on Wednesday, returning to around seasonal averages. Conditions will remain mild across most regions and warmer in low-lying areas, with winds shifting from northeasterly to northwesterly by evening.

A further increase is expected on Thursday, bringing spring-like and moderate conditions across most regions, while warmer weather persists in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be light northeasterly, occasionally shifting to northwesterly.

The warming trend is set to continue on Friday, with relatively warm conditions across most regions and relatively hot weather in low-lying areas. High clouds are expected, while easterly winds will be moderate and may become active at times.

Temperature ranges on Tuesday reflect regional variation, with East Amman forecast between 20 C and 9 C, and West Amman between 18 C and 7 C. Northern highlands will record 16 C to 6 C, while the Sharah highlands range between 17 C and 7 C.

In the Badia, temperatures are expected between 23 C and 11 C, and in the plains between 21 C and 9 C. The northern Jordan Valley is forecast at 28 C to 14 C, rising to 29 C to 18 C in the southern valley. The Dead Sea will record 28 C to 17 C, while Aqaba reaches 29 C to 18 C.
