Ammon News - Valleys across southern governorates filled with floodwaters following heavy rainfall that swept the Kingdom at dawn on Thursday.

Videos published by Ammon News on Thursday showed strong water flows in several areas, including Silk Road in Tafila Governorate, Ghor Al-Mazraa in Karak, Al-Husseiniya in Ma’an Governorate, Wadi Al-Hasa along the Tafila–Karak road, the King’s Highway in Tafila, Wadi Al-Mujib, and the Namlah stream channel.

In the highlands of the southern governorates, snow has begun to accumulate following heavy snowfall over high mountain peaks such as Shobak, Al-Naqab, and Al-Hisha.
