Ammon News - Head coach of the Jordanian national football team, Jamal Sellami, said on Wednesday that the Jordanian team hopes to finish the tournament by winning the title in the final match.

In a press conference preceding FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 final, Sellami stated that the national team possesses qualities that allow them to close the gap with the Moroccan national team, with whom they will face off in the final.

He added, "No one doubts my love for Morocco and my pride in my Moroccan identity. I am a product of Moroccan football, both as a player and a coach, and what I have achieved is what has brought me to this stage," emphasizing that Moroccan coaches are beginning to make a strong impression due to the attention they have received both within Morocco and abroad.

He further noted, "No one doubts my integrity and dedication to my work. I am the captain of the Jordanian national team, and I am striving for victory." He explained that if the Jordanian team wins, it will be a victory for Moroccan coaches, and that the Moroccan team deserved to be in the final. He added that their coach, Tarik Sektioui, is a personal friend and one of the best coaches in Morocco.
