Ammon News - The number of property transactions by non-Jordanian investors during the first eleven months 2025 reached 2,246, a decrease of 12% compared to the same period last year, which saw 2,551 properties sold.
A report by the Department of Lands and Survey showed that these sales included 1,358 apartments valued at JD117 million, a 9% decrease compared to the same period last year, which recorded 1,448 apartments sold, and 888 plots of land valued at JD78 million, a 16% decrease compared to the same period last year, which saw 1,063 plots sold.
The estimated value of real estate sales to non-Jordanian investors during the first eleven months of this year is JD195 million, a decrease of 3% compared to the same period last year, which recorded JD200 million.
Iraqi nationality came in first place in property ownership transactions by non-Jordanians during the first eleven months with a total of 496 properties, followed by Saudi nationality in second place with a total of 362 properties, Syrian nationality in third place with a total of 216 properties, American nationality in fourth place with a total of 163 properties, and Palestinian nationality in fifth place with a total of 158 properties.
In terms of value, Iraqi nationality also came in first place with an estimated value of JD71.8 million, representing 37% of the estimated value of non-Jordanian ownership transactions. American nationality came in second place with a value of JD18.4 million, representing 9%, Syrian nationality came in third place with a value of JD13.4 million, representing 7%, Palestinian nationality came in fourth place with a value of JD12.2 million, representing 6.2%, and a slight difference from Saudi nationality in fifth place with a value of JD11 million, representing 5.7%.
