Ammon News - Israeli occupation forces have escalated their bombardment on northern Gaza, particularly Gaza City, carrying out a series of strikes and demolitions against residential homes and towers over the past few hours.

Several civilians were injured when Israeli warplanes targeted a house on Al-Thawra Street in Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City.

He added that Israeli drones struck homes in the vicinity of Al-Yarmouk neighborhood in central Gaza City, while Israeli military vehicles opened fire on Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid in the central Gaza Strip.

Over the past week, Israeli occupation forces have been systematically targeting residential towers and homes, using explosive-laden robots to demolish buildings in densely populated neighborhoods. The campaign aims to forcibly displace families, driving more residents toward central and southern parts of the Strip.

On Friday alone, 70 Palestinians were killed across the Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll from the ongoing Israeli genocide since October 2023 to 64,756, with 164,059 others injured.
