Ammon News - The Israeli Internal Security Service (Shin Bet), in cooperation with the Israeli army, announced the thwarting of an assassination attempt on National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir using an explosive-laden drone. The attempt was planned by a Hamas cell from the Hebron area.

According to the Hebrew newspaper Maariv, the Shin Bet's investigation into the cell members revealed that the suspects had purchased several drones with the intention of mounting explosives on them to carry out the attack.

The drones were confiscated during their arrest, and their investigation is ongoing.
