Ammon News - A number of citizens were killed and injured since dawn on Monday due to Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip, while homes continued to be destroyed in the Zeitoun neighborhood.

Medical sources reported that five citizens were killed and others were injured when the Israeli occupation bombed a residential apartment on Al-Nafaq Street, north of Gaza City.

The same sources added that a woman and a child were killed when Israeli aircraft targeted the Abu Murad family home in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

They indicated that four people were killed and others wounded and were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City, as a result of Israeli aircraft bombing the Dababesh family home near the Al-Ghazali junction in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

Meanwhile, smoke rises from a missile attack on the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, where residential buildings continue to be destroyed by booby-trapped robots.

Since October 7, 2023, the occuption forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 63,459 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 160,256 others, according to a preliminary toll.

A number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
