At least 14 civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes on displacement camp in northern Gaza

22-07-2025 09:54 AM

Ammon News - At least 14 Palestinians were killed and 25 others injured, including women and children, in an Israeli airstrike targeting tents housing displaced families in the northern area of al-Shati Refugee Camp west of Gaza City, according to medical sources at al-Shifa Hospital.

Doctors confirmed that the victims arrived at the hospital in the early hours of Tuesday following the bombing, which marks yet another deadly attack on civilians amid the ongoing war in the besieged enclave.

The strike is part of the broader Israeli military offensive on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, and has so far resulted in 59,029 deaths — the vast majority of whom are women and children — along with 142,135 injuries, according to the latest figures from the Gaza Health Ministry.

Many victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, as relentless airstrikes and the collapse of infrastructure continue to hinder rescue efforts.

Heavy bombardments persist across the Gaza Strip, especially in areas densely populated with displaced civilians. The humanitarian situation remains dire, with severe shortages of food, water, and medicine. WAFA
