UAE to face Oman in Arabian Gulf Cup final

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The UAE national team qualified for the Gulf Cup final after beating Iraq 4-2 on penalties Tuesday in the semi-finals of the tournament held in Kuwait.

The game ended in a 0-0 draw during the first 90 minutes and the extra time.

Ali Mabkhoot, Omar Abdul Rahman Khamis Ismail and Mohammed Barghash scored from the spot to give the UAE a win while Alaa Abdul Zahra and Hamam Tariq missed two penalties from the spot to eliminate Iraq.

The UAE team will meet on Friday Oman, who beat Bahrain 1-0.
