Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism visits Jordan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS – The Department of State’s Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism Hannah Rosenthal arrived in Jordan today on a four-day visit to meet with government officials, youth groups, women’s groups, and religious and nongovernmental organizations. During the visit she will discuss tolerance and education.

Rosenthal will also promote with Special Representative to Muslim Communities Farah Pandith the 2011 Hours Against Hate campaign, which encourages young people around the world to build stronger communities that value pluralism and diversity and reject hate and bigotry.

Hanna Rosenthal was sworn in as Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism on November 23, 2009.
