VIDEO: Jordanians Pour to the streets celebrating the Egyptian Revolution

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Thousands of Jordanians poured to the streets Friday evening in various cities and governorates in celebration of Egyptian ex-president Hosni Mubarak's resignation after over 30 years in office.

Jordanian citizens, activists, political parties and popular movements celebrated and chanted slogans of support of the Egyptian people's revolution.

Crowds estimated in the thousands crowded in front of the Egyptian Embassy in Amman, launched fireworks, and called on Arab leaders to listen to the demands of their peoples.

Drivers honked their horns and citizens crowded in the streets in Amman, Irbid, Salt, and Aqaba cities. (More below)




Dozens poured down to the Egyptian Consulate in the southern Red Sea port-city of Aqaba and expressed joy at the success of the Egyptian people's revolution.

Jordan's Professional Associations Council announced that it will hold a celebration at 2 PM on Saturday in front of the Professional Associations' Complex.
