MPs to discuss government's ministerial statement on Monday
The Lower House on Monday will begin discussions on the ministerial statement submitted by Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan to the House on Sunday, to gain confidence on its basis, through successive sessions.
Lower House speaker Ahmad Safadi decided to start holding parliament sessions to discuss the ministerial statement starting Monday, where each MP has the right to speak for 10 minutes, and the party has 15 minutes to discuss the statement under the dome.
This comes in accordance with the provisions of Article (53) and Clause (4) of Article (84) of the Constitution, and in accordance with the provisions of Clause (2) of Paragraph (a) of Article (86) of the House of Representatives’ internal regulations.
