Initial registration for Hajj 2025 (the greater Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca) will begin on Tuesday, for Jordanians and Gazans living in Jordan, through the electronic Hajj portal, according to Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places Mohammad Khalayleh.
In a press statement, the ministry said that registration will start from 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024.
The ministry called on those wishing to register, who meet the conditions, to pay an amount of JD 200 to the original registrant only, which will be refunded after the end of registration at a time specified by the Hajj and Umrah Department.
To register for 2025 Hajj season, the original registrant must be born on or after December 31, 1975, have not previously performed Hajj, and have received two doses of the approved coronavirus vaccine.
