During his visit to secondary school No. 22 in Navoi Farofon, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev highlighted that school education is now a nationwide initiative in Uzbekistan. The education sector is recognized as a key focus in the Uzbekistan 2030 strategy.
The school, with approximately 1,800 students, was constructed and inaugurated in the previous year. All classrooms, labs, computer science and foreign language classes, gym, football field, and canteen now have modern facilities. The library houses 3,000 books and is linked to the Alisher Navoi National Library's electronic system.
The task assigned by the head of state is to improve the quality of education in secondary schools to match that of presidential and specialized schools. 104 teachers were chosen competitively for the school's selection. Training is conducted based on programs that incorporate the top methods from leading schools.
Young individuals are consistently educated in a minimum of two foreign languages as well as one contemporary occupation. With this goal in mind, the school has arranged over ten clubs focusing on fields like applied arts, hospitality, sketching, photography, computer science, and robotics.
A national military group has been established in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense. It holds gatherings to discuss the bravery of historical figures like Amir Temur and Jalaluddin Manguberdi. Regularly, there are national events and sports competitions conducted. The school includes a group named 'Ektidor' which allows students to engage in music, theater, and art.
