Fuel prices up by 5 fils for 90 octane, 15 for 95, 20 for diesel
The monthly meeting of the Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee was held today, Thursday, to set the local selling prices of oil derivatives for the period from (November 1-30).
The committee analyzed the worldwide prices of crude oil and oil products in October, comparing them to September's prices. Global price trends indicated a rise in gasoline (90 and 95) and diesel prices in October.
Following the application of the price equation based on international prices for all oil products, the committee discovered that gasoline 90 saw a rise of (5) fils/liter, gasoline 95 increased by (15) fils/liter, and diesel price went up by (20) fils/liter.
Therefore, the Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee has decided to adjust the prices of 90-octane gasoline to 865 fils/liter from 860 fils/liter, 95-octane gasoline to 1110 fils/liter from 1095 fils/liter, diesel to 675 fils/liter from 655 fils/liter, while keeping kerosene at 620 fils/liter and domestic gas cylinder at 7 dinars/cylinder.
