Journalists Syndicate decides to hold elections in April
The Council of the Jordanian Journalists Syndicate agreed in a meeting today, Wednesday, led by Syndicate President Rakan Al-Sa'aideh, with several Council members present, to conduct Council elections in April 2025.
This occurred because there were not enough members present at the special General Assembly meeting last Friday, which resulted in the postponement of the elections for the Syndicate President, his deputy, and the Syndicate Council members.
122 male and female colleagues from the General Assembly were present at the Palace of Culture, with the total number of male and female colleagues reaching the legal quorum of 518.
The President of the Syndicate, Rakan Al-Sa'aideh, declared that the special meeting of the General Assembly of the Journalists Syndicate was called off.
