According to information provided by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Arab visitors have spent the most on tourism in Jordan, totaling two billion dinars in the first nine months of the current year.
Information from the Ministry of Tourism showed that Jordanians living outside the country spent around 1.344 million dinars on tourism in Jordan, whereas foreign visitors spent 661 million dinars in the first nine months of the current year.
Tourism revenue totaled $5,571.8 million in the first three quarters of 2024, marking a 4.3% drop from the same period in 2023.
Data from the Central Bank of Jordan shows a 7.0% decrease in tourist numbers leading to this result.
