Jordan Field Hospital Gaza79 welcomes 21,000 patients
Commander of the Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza79, said on Thursday that the hospital in the northern Gaza Strip has received more than 21,000 patients since its arrival last July and performed 217 minor and major operations.
The hospital staff carried out a humanitarian campaign to donate blood to enhance the Palestinian blood bank’s stock, which suffers from a severe shortage of blood units, he told Al-Mamlaka.
He pointed out that the hospital provided medical aid to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, to support the steadfastness of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, noting that the aid contains many basic treatments necessary to support the Palestinian health system.
The aid will contribute to alleviating the suffering of war victims, cancer patients, chronic disease patients, and pain clinics, he added.
