Jordan sends new 50-truck aid convoy to northern Gaza
The Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army and the Jordan Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO) and in cooperation with the World Food Program (WFP) and UNICEF, sent 50 trucks of humanitarian aid to northern Gaza Strip.
The trucks are carrying food aid, health parcels and baby food.
JHCO's Secretary-General, Hussein Shibli, said that the organization, despite the current circumstances and difficulties, has not stopped preparing and equipping relief aid convoys for our people in Gaza.
Shibli stressed that coordination is ongoing to ensure that these convoys pass in a safe and secure manner so that aid reaches the people in Gaza, to be distributed by partner organizations operating inside Gaza.
The total number of trucks that have entered the Gaza Strip to date is 3,652 trucks.
