In implementation of the Royal Directives to evacuate Jordanian nationals from Lebanon, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced Monday the evacuation of 11 Jordanian citizens from Lebanon, via a military aircraft belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force.
The plane arrived at Rafic Hariri International Airport on Monday carrying 15 tons of humanitarian aid for the brotherly Lebanese people. This is the 9th Jordanian aid plane, bringing the total aid provided to Lebanon since the beginning of the Israeli aggression to 140 tons of food, relief supplies, medicine and medical supplies.
The ministry's official spokesperson, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, said that the number of Jordanians who were evacuated from Lebanon via three Royal Jordanian Air Force planes was 90 Jordanian citizens, all of whom had registered on the electronic platform for evacuation at the Jordanian Embassy in Lebanon.
Qudah also explained that since the beginning of last August until now, 3,305 Jordanian citizens have arrived in the Kingdom from Lebanon, via Queen Alia International Airport, in addition to the numbers who arrived by land through the Jaber border crossing.
