Army foils two drone-based attempts to smuggle narcotics
The Southern Military Zone in coordination with the military security services and the Anti-Narcotics Department, thwarted two drone-based attempts to smuggle narcotics on its western front and within its area of responsibility, according to a responsible military source.
The rules of engagement were applied, leading to the downing of the drones inside Jordanian territory. It was found that the drones were carrying narcotic substances, and the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities, the source said.
