Maaytah: Turnout will be around general average of last elections
President of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission (IEC), Musa Maaytah, confirmed that no major errors were detected during the electoral process, and that they are all being addressed immediately.
During a press conference, Maaytah said that for the first time this large number of parties are participating in the parliamentary elections, and 41 cases and violations have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
He also thanked all those who participated in supporting the elections.
Maaytah expected that the general voting percentage would be around the general equivalent during the elections held in the Kingdom in the past years.
