Central Bank Governor: Foreign reserves hit new record of $20 billion
Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ), Adel Sharkas said that the bank's foreign reserves reached unprecedented record levels of $20 billion by the end of August of 2024.
Sharkas indicated that this level of reserves enhances confidence in the Jordanian economy and covers the Kingdom’s imports of goods and services for 8.7 months.
