Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh received on Thursday, the 2023 annual report from the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, when he received Chairperson Muhannad Hijazi and the Commission's Board of Directors, in the presence of the Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Ibrahim Al-Jazi, and members of the Commission’s Board.
During the meeting, Khasawneh stressed the government's support for the Commission's efforts to strengthen the national integrity system and protect public funds in accordance with the provisions of the law, pointing to the Commission's important role in various fields and sectors.
The Prime Minister also pointed out the importance of developing control mechanisms and keeping pace with modern developments and standards in enhancing the integrity and transparency system, and qualifying and training working crews, praising the efforts made by the Commission in this field.
Hijazi presented key aspects of the report, focusing on the Commission’s efforts to enhance prevention, proactive deterrence, and transparency. He also noted the establishment of a specialized training center and partnerships with national institutions to promote integrity and ensure the rule of law.
