The Eastern Military Zone on Thursday dawn thwarted an attempt to infiltrate and smuggle large quantities of narcotic substances into Jordan from Syrian territories, a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army announced.
The source said that after intensifying search and inspection operations in the area, quantities of narcotic substances were found, and the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities.
