Israeli forces detain at least 15 Palestinians, including former prisoners, across West Bank
Israeli occupation forces have conducted a series of detentions since yesterday evening until this morning, detaining at least 15 individuals from the West Bank, including former prisoners.
In a joint statement, the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) and the Authority of the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners disclosed that the detentions took place in Hebron, Tubas, Ramallah, and Jerusalem.
Additionally, Israeli forces conducted field interrogations with a group of civilians in the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, most of whom were released later.
The statement explained that ongoing Israeli incursions involve widespread raids, severe beatings, threats against detainees and their families, as well as instances of property destruction and sabotage in civilian homes.
According to the statement, since October 7th, the number of Palestinians detained by Israeli troops has exceeded 9,550, including those taken from their homes, at military checkpoints, individuals who surrendered under pressure, and those held as hostages.
