The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC) on Tuesday announced that that it will temporarily block all messaging apps, that could affect the progress of General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) exams in all schools in the Kingdom where exams will be held.
The TRC confirmed that the decision came in order to preserve the integrity of the secondary school certificate exams and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
Apps will be blocked starting from Tuesday, until next July 15 in all Jordanian schools in which exams will be held and only during the period when students are taking the exams, the TRC said in a statement.
It also explained that blocking applications will take place a few minutes before the start of the exams and will end shortly after they end.
