The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army and the Jordan Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO),with the support of a number of organizations, companies and institutions, including Anera, Al-Isra Hospital, Al-Jazeera Hospital, the Amman Chamber of Industry, the Amman Chamber of Commerce, and others, sent Sunday a new humanitarian aid convoy to the people in Gaza, to reach the total number to 120 within a week.
The convoy consists of 40 trucks loaded with basic food parcels, to be distributed to the people in Gaza through partner associations and organizations in the Strip.
JHCO's Secretary- General, Hussein Shibli, said that the humanitarian situation is getting worse in the Gaza Strip, while life is getting tougher for our people in Gaza and it is difficult for them to secure their daily food.
We are doing our best to bring more food into the Gaza Strip to confront the food shortage and prevent a possible famine in the Strip, Shibli added.
The JHCO remains open to receiving monetary donations through its designated bank account at the Union Bank of Jordan, Al-Wehdat branch. Donations can be made using the following IBAN: JO32 UBSI 1030 0000 4010 1659 9151 06. Additionally, the organization has facilitated the 'CliQ' service under the name JHCOGAZA, as well as electronic payment options, bill payments, exchange offices, and its official website, www.jhco.org.jo.
