Khasawneh, Madbouly to chair Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee meeting
Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh and his Egyptian counterpart Mostafa Madbouly will chair on Thursday the meeting of the 32nd session of the joint Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee, whose preparatory meetings began on Wednesday.
The delegation accompanying the Prime Minister includes Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Ibrahim Jazi, Tourism and Antiquities Minister Makram Qaisi, Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Minister Ahmed Hanandah, Industry, Trade and Supply Minister Youssef Shamali, Planning and International Cooperation Minister Zeina Touqan, Transport Minister Wissam Tahtamouni, and Government Communication Minister Muhannad Mubaideen.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Minister of Transport Wissam Tahtamouni discussed on Wednesday with her Egyptian counterpart Kamel Al-Wazir, on Wednesday, aspects of bilateral cooperation in the fields of land, sea and railway transport.
Tahtamouni stressed, according to Al-Mamlaka, the depth of Jordanian-Egyptian relations and joint cooperation in various economic fields, especially transportation in its various sectors, noting the importance of holding such joint periodic meetings to enhance cooperation in the fields of transportation and other economic sectors for the benefit of both countries.
