Blinken arrives in Amman to discuss ceasefire in Gaza
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken arrived on Tuesday in the capital, Amman, on his 7th tour of the region as part of efforts to reach an immediate and complete ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Blinken was received by the US Ambassador to Jordan, Yael Lambert.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Safadi, is scheduled to meet Blinken on Tuesday.
The two sides will discuss the risks of the Israeli occupation attack on the city of Rafah, and the mechanisms for lifting all restrictions that hinder the entry of humanitarian aid into all areas of the Gaza Strip, in a way that ensures that the humanitarian crisis does not worsen.
