Minister of Labor, Nadia Rawabdeh, confirmed that providing a healthy and safe work environment for workers in the private sector is one of the Ministry's most prominent priorities, stressing that the Ministry is keen on building a culture of safety and health among workers and employers and linking it to the outcomes of the production process.
Rawabdeh stressed that adherence to standards and conditions for safety and health work is in the interest of both the employer and the worker alike and ensures the sustainability of the wheel of production in establishments.
The Ministry worked on a comprehensive modernization of the safety and health system at work in 2023 by issuing new regulations for this purpose and instructions issued pursuant to them, Rawabdeh indicated.
