IAC publishes photo of Shawwal crescent taken from Irbid
The International Astronomy Center (IAC) published on Tuesday a picture of the crescent of Shawwal 1445 AH as it was captured during the day on Tuesday from the city of Irbid in northern Jordan.
The image of the crescent moon was taken at 8:13 am -Amman time-, and was taken by Anas Sawalha,member of the center, the IAC said.
International Astronomy Center also added that the distance of the moon from the sun when the photo was taken was 6.9 degrees.
