Jordan defeats Pakistan 7-0 in qualifiers for World Cup 2026
The Jordanian national team defeated its Pakistani guest by 7-0 in the match that brought them together on Tuesday, at the Amman International Stadium.
The national team's tally rose to 7 points in second place in Group Seven of the second stage of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, before the return matches with Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia, respectively, which are scheduled to be held next June.
National team star Mousa Tamari scored the first goal in the match in the 15th minute, before Yazan Al-Nemat scored the 2nd goal from the penalty spot in the 27th minute.
Saad Al-Rousan also scored the 3rd goal in the 52nd minute, in addition to the 4th goal scored by Al-Taamari in the 62nd minute, and Ali Alwan scored the 5th goal in the 75th minute.
Tamari returned to score his hat-trick and the 6th goal in the Pakistani goal, before player Mohammad Abu Zraiq (Sharara) scored the 7th goal in the 84th minute.
