JAF carries out 6 aid airdrops on Gaza with international participation
The Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army (JAF) carried out on Wednesday 6 airdrops carrying food aid, targeting a number of locations in the northern Gaza Strip.
The airdrops was carried out by a C130 aircraft belonging to the JAF, an Egyptian aircraft, in addition to two aircraft belonging to the United States, an aircraft belonging to the Federal Republic of Germany, and an aircraft belonging to the Republic of Singapore.
Singapore's participation came for the first time as part of the efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to mobilize support from more international positions to deliver food aid to residents suffering from famine as a result of the ongoing Israeli war, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
The JAF confirmed that they are continuing to send humanitarian and medical aid via an air bridge to be delivered via aid planes from Marka Airport towards El-Arish International Airport, or via airdrops on the Gaza Strip or ground aid convoys.
