Jordan hosts quadripartite meeting to discuss drug scourge confronting
The interior ministers of Jordan, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon begin a meeting on Saturday, in the capital, Amman, to discuss the drug scourge and ways to combat it.
Interior Minister, Mazen Faraya, received on Friday evening his Iraqi counterpart, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, and Lebanese counterpart, Bassam Mawlawi, at Queen Alia International Airport.
The ministers visit comes to participate in the quadripartite meeting hosted by Jordan for the interior ministers of Jordan, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon to discuss joint mechanisms for confronting and combating the drug phenomenon.
