Awqaf Minister, Mohammad Khalaileh, announced in a press conference on Thursday, that the prices for the special Hajj by plane only start from JD4,700 and reach JD7,000, and they include 5-star hotels no more than 500 meters from the courtyard of the Holy Mosque in Mecca.
The Prices are vary according to the choice of hotels, rooms and the number of beds, Khalaileh added.
Regarding the ordinary Hajj, the minister divided it into categories, the first of which is 5-star hotels and air travel, the cost of which ranges from JD3,310 to JD3,860.
The minister also stated that Jordan's quota for performing the Hajj this year is 8,000, noting that the Hajj this year reached those born on June 30, 1952.
The delivery of permits to pilgrims for this season will begin as of next Saturday morning and end on the evening of the following Saturday, February 24th, noting that the validity of each permit and the payment period are fixed on the permit, as the minister explained.
