No snow accumulation in Kingdom on Tuesday, says JMD
Head of the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) Raed Al Khattab, on Sunday, said that the chances of snowfalls in the Kingdom will decrease next Tuesday, especially with the expected decrease in humidity.
Al Khattab told Ammon that Amman will not witness snow accumulations on Tuesday, noting that temperatures will drop slightly on Tuesday, recording below their general average for this time of year by about 4-5 degrees Celsius.
A very cold and partly cloudy to cloudy atmosphere prevails in the Kingdom, especially in the north and centre, with showers of rain falling from time to time in the northern regions and limited parts of the central-western regions of the Kingdom, which may be heavy in the north of the Kingdom at night, he added.
'It is possible that the high mountain highlands in the Kingdom will witness snow showers mixed with rain sometimes for a limited period,' Al Khattab stated.
