Gov't issues new decision regarding Syrian workers in Jordan
A Cabinet session held Sunday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Khasawneh, decided to approve extending the implementation of its previous decision related to correcting the conditions of irregular Syrian workers in the Kingdom working in professions permitted for non-Jordanians.
The extension came for a period of one year for Syrian workers in factories benefiting from the decision to ease the rules of origin with the European Union, and for a period of six months for workers in professions permitted for non-Jordanians.
