Awqaf Ministry: 22,250 register for Hajj, no extension for registration
Ministry of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places said that the number of people registered to perform Hajj reached 22,250 people, and that there was no increase in the Hajj quota allocated to Jordan, which amounts to 8,000 pilgrims.
In a statement, the Ministry confirmed on Tuesday that the initial registration for this year’s Hajj season will not be extended, indicating that the names of those accepted to perform the Hajj season for this year will be announced when arrangements for the next Hajj season are completed.
